This item adds two (2) Firewire 400 and one (1) USB 2.0 combination card to the MacBook Pro via the ExpressCard/34 slot.  Since there are no FW400 ports or the USB port for the MacBook Pro 15" first generation models, we especially recommend this item for our users with those notebook computers.  Includes AC jack (for bus-powered devices 12V/1A 3.5..) on the side of the card. AC Adapter sold sepatately.
