HOW TO AFFIX MOUNTER TO 3.5 INCH DRIVE |
|
1. Affix thermal gel seats onto controller tips. You need
to adjust the thermal gel seat so it touches the mounter.
(You may need to pile up the seats.) |
 |
2. Put the mounter on top of drive. Make sure the screw
holes on the mounter and drive are aligned.
In the photo, the part of the drive that connects to the
IDE cable is visible.
|
 |
3. Affix the mounter onto the drive using the 1 inch screws.
|
| HOW TO AFFIX MOUNTER TO 2.5 INCH DRIVE |
 |
1. Put the hard disk upside down. Place the thermal gel
seats and rubber washers onto the hard disk. (It will be
easier if you place your hard disk on top of a 1-inch high
box, such as a cigarette box)
|
  |
2. Put the mounter on top of the drive. Make sure the
screw holes on the mounter and drive are aligned. Affix the
mounter to the drive, using M3 screws.
In the photo, the part of the drive that connects to the
IDE cable is visible.
You will need to use the 2.5 > 3.5 inch connector shown
in the photo. You can purchase the connector at your local
computer store. |
